our note to the 4 cd box “Those Were The Days“:
NOT SATISFYING!
details:
the studio tracks should have been in chronological order
I Feel Free must be #1!!! (a very big mistake of the editors!)
lp Fresh Cream splitted (nonsense)
Anyone For Tennis would be the perfect introduction (#1) of the second cd
lps Disraeli Gears and Wheels Of Fire NOT FROM ORIGINAL MASTERTAPE!!!
these two albums and about half of the live tracks should have been remastered, especially denoised!
missing badly Politician LIVE from lp Goodbye, which is much better than the issued version
most of the live tracks badly cut, too long bare beginnings and ends
summary:
one can get the box, it contains all of the great Cream recordings
BUT IT COULD HAVE DONE MUCH BETTER !!!!!
